Microsoft Just Bought Activision Blizzard and I’m Glad

Microsoft just announced its acquisition of Activision Blizzard in a ~$69 billion deal.

Blizzard rose up in the ranks back in the 90s with its popular franchises StarCraft, Warcraft, and Diablo. I was a huge fan.

When Activision merged with their parent company in 2008, I grew concerned. But I loved the Guitar Hero and Call of Duty franchises.
